My Core Treatments
I have 8 Core Treatments which I believe are essential in maintaining a healthy and hydrated lawn all year round. The vast majority of Lawn Care providers just offer the 5 Core feeds but if you compare my Core package to the likes of Green Thumb who are a large national franchise you’ll see you get a lot more for your money.
You’ll get:
- 5 of my high quality Organic Blend of Seasonal Granular Feeds.
- A monthly liquid feed which helps keep moss at bay and green up the lawn.
- A wetting Agent to help hydrate the lawn and prevent Dry Patch.
- A Lawn Safe Weedkiller treatment to control broad leaf weeds.
My Premium Treatments
Contains everything in the Core Treatment package and also includes:
- Spring Scarification which removes thatch, moss and other decaying organic matter.
- Autumn Aeration to help reduce compaction, increase water, air and nutrient penetration.

Spring Blend Organic Fertilizer
Nutrient rich blend of natural ingredients that provide both quick and slow release nitrogen sources. Adds organic matter to the soil and increases microbial activity.
Granular Organic Fertilizer
Nutrient rich blend of natural ingredients that provide both quick and slow release nitrogen sources. Adds organic matter to the soil and increases microbial activity.
Spring Pre-Emergent Application
Prevents warm season broadleaf and grassy weeds from sprouting through Spring and Summer.
Systemic Insecticide
To assist in the control of Chafer Grubs and Leatherjackets. Grassy weed post-emergent control is applied if necessary.
Wetting Agent
Applied to cure Dry Patch, improves water infiltration through the soil to ensure all plant roots are able to access moisture.
Dry Patch is the build up of natural waxes & oils around the soil particles leading to water-repellent (hydrophobic) conditions. This wetting agent reduces soil waterlogging, improves water movement from surface to root zone and helps nutrients penetrate water repellent soil.

De-compact soil to allow better air and water penetration. Recommended to be done once every year dependant on soil quality.

Scarification is the mechanical removal of organic material from around the stem of the grass, this is to maintain a healthy growing environment above and below the surface.
By organic matter I mean dead grass blades, thatch, lawn clippings and moss.
Spring through to Autumn
Whether it’s just patch repairs or part of a full renovation seeding ideally needs to be done when the soil temp is 10 degrees or higher for successful germination.
